I earlier announced that I went to gigs of Mostly Autumn in Bunde (near Maastricht) and Hengelo in April. These
shows were one of the first ones with Olivia Sparnenn as lead vocalist of the band. This assured us of a new
experience, and so it was! After being to both shows I can say that it is quite a bit different but just as
good as before! You can see a nice selection of my photos on
the Mostly Autumn page.

Last time I already told that I will post photos of the trip to England as well photos of the Kenilworth
Castle. From now on I'd like to invite you over to read the text and take a look at the photos on
the Weekend England page. In the mean time
I have been to two beautiful gigs of Mostly Autumn (now with Olivia) in Bunde and Hengelo. The photos of these
shows will follow soon on
the Mostly Autumn page.
During the Easter weekend I went to Great Britain to visit the farewell concert of Heather Findlay of Mostly
Autumn. It was a completely unforgettable night which I will never forget. A selection of the most beautiful
photos (the first ones taken with my new DSLR camera) can be found on
the Mostly Autumn page. I'm looking
forward to hear your reactions.

I'd like to wish everybody a Happy New Year! This year's winter is full of long cold period with loads of
snow. On the Snow page you find new photos that I
recently shot. Those photos are taken around my house and at the Holterberg area. Another thing is that I
bought a new DSLR camera (Canon 500D) last week. All new photos on my website will taken with this lovely
camera. You'll find more information on
the Photos page. A nice little fact to end with: my
website exists just over 5 years now!

The photos of the X-mas shows of Mostly Autumn in Venlo, Zoetermeer and Zwolle are yet online on
the Mostly Autumn page. Also
the Music page has been refreshed with six new
albums.
Many of you waited long for this, but all my summer holiday photos are now online on my website! On
the Holiday 2009 page you find per day
a story of the things I did on that day, along with a photo album which shows you the particular photos of
that day. I hope you like it all! In December I went to three gigs of the British band Mostly Autumn. I will
put the photos of these wonderful gigs soon online on my website. Through this way I would also like to wish
you all happy holidays!

The last few weeks I've been busy with photos. The holiday photos are sorted out, so you can soon expect them
online on my website! In the mean time you can take a look at the photos of my car on
the Fiat Grande Punto page. In
October I've been to the Fantastyval festival to check out some cool bands. The festival was really nice, so
be sure to check out the photos of Mostly Autumn, Stream of Passion and my most recent discovery Reincarnatus
on the Fantastyval page. And finally, I
added the new album of Guilt Machine to the discography of Arjen Lucassen. Check out

the Fiat Grande Punto page I
will put from time to time some nice photos. The first once are soon to be found there! I added a few more
new albums to the Music page and
the Music list page. One final thing: the
newest album of Guilt Machine will soon be added to

Happy New Year, everybody! The first update of 2009 is going to be a significant one as on this day I will be
presenting to you the English version of my website. Except for the Arjen Lucassen discography, everything
will be also available in English for the benefit of the foreign visitors to this website. For the Arjen
Lucassen discography in English, it is best to visit the one

A day after an amazing concert by Mostly Autumn (see
the Mostly Autumn page), I went to
the Dickens festival. This is an annual event taking place in the medieval Bergkwartier quarter in Deventer.
On the Dickens festival page you can read
about my experiences and take a look at the accompanying photos. In this way I would also like to thank you
all for visiting my website in 2008. I'd like to welcome you all once again in 2009. Happy holidays and the
best wishes for 2009!
Last weekend I went to a wonderful concert of the British band Mostly Autumn. Like every year in December,
it was a fantastic Xmas show, this time held in 'W2' in Den Bosch. On
the Mostly Autumn page you can take a
look at the most beautiful photos from this unforgettable night.
Because of the 4th anniversary of my website, I decided to go semi-pro with a real .nl internet address.
From now on you can visit my website via www.RobLigtenberg.nl. To be able to find my website quickly
in the future, I advice you to update your bookmarks. You might discover some links to English pages on my
website, but they currently don't function properly. Hopefully I will be able to present to you my website
fully translated into English at the end of this month. So be sure to come back soon!

In the beginning of November Arjen Lucassen released the album 'Timeline'. It is a compilation album which
gives a complete overview of what has been released during the previous 13 years by Ayreon. The album has
obviously been added to the discography on
the A. A. Lucassen page. Here you can
find all the information about this album, along with a sample from a brand new song!

Earlier this week I went to the miniature park at Madurodam and the beach at Scheveningen. It was a nice
sunny day and I really enjoyed it. If you want to see what makes the Netherlands beautiful but on a very
small scale, then please take a look at the photos in the photo albums on
the Holiday 2008 page.
At the beginning of the week I went to the city of Deventer (on July 14th) and to Vaals and Maastricht (on
July 15th). The weather wasn't nice enough to make anymore day trips during the week. You can read about my
experiences at said places on
the Holiday 2008 page. Taking a look at
these photos is worth it, as these places are really beautiful. Do you like them too? Then don't hestitate and
leave a message in the Guestbook.
Last Saturday I went to the Navy days in Den Helder by train. It was really amazing to be able to take a
look at these large frigates. We were even able to take a look inside! The shows of the Royal Netherlands
Navy and Army were spectacular! I selected the most beautiful photos and added some descriptions. You can
read more about this event on
the Holiday 2008 page.
Last Wednesday I went to the Railway museum in Utrecht. This is really worth checking out if you like trains.
I spent my time well there and really enjoyed my visit. A short description with photos can be found on
the Holiday 2008 page. Take a look and
enjoy it!
During the last few weeks I have had the idea in my head of going to the Muiderslot castle. Until now it has
never happened, but today I gave it a try. It was very tough to actually get there using public transport.
The castle and its garden and surrounding area are really wonderful! If you have doubts about going there: I
really recommend doing it, and buy a ticket for a guided tour through the special rooms of the castle as that
was just fantastic! On the Holiday 2008
page you can find the most beautiful photos that I took, and you can find a short story about the day itself
as well.
Yesterday I biked through the surrounding area of the city where I live, Rijssen. I do this regularly,
but I never took pictures of this beautiful area before. If you are curious how the beautiful scenery of
the Friezenberg, Borkeld, Holterberg and river Regge looks, then take a look at the photos on
the Holiday 2008 page. Soon more
updates will follow!
Yes! Finally it is time for summer holiday again! I wont be making any far trips to sunny foreign destinations
this year, but during this holiday I will try to make a few day trips through our tiny country. Thereby I
will try to keep the Holiday 2008 page
up-to-date with all my experiences. It's my intention to update it every 2 to 3 days, and when possible with
new photos and short stories. On my first trip I took my bike and went for a nice ride all the way to the
German border. On my way I saw many nice things... Enjoy the special page about my holiday and have a nice
holiday yourself!

Welcome on my completely new website. During the previous one and a half years I rebuilt all pages from
scratch. The menu is newer, quicker and further optimised. The lay-out of the website has changed a little
bit, making the text more easily readable. I added many new photos to
the Photos page, and the photos are displayed in a
larger format in the photo albums. The discography of Arjen Anthony Lucassen has been completed with all
songtexts and information about his albums and singles. This discography is completely up-to-date.
The A. A. Lucassen page also contains
music clips, which will make your visit a real pleasure!
The Music page
and Music list page have also been updated
and now contain music too. To keep a good overview of my website, I created
a Sitemap page that makes it easy to find the
things you are searching for. During the next months I will continue translating my whole website into
English. Of course I will notify you when this is all perfect and ready. In case you encounter any errors or
mistakes, please inform me by using
the Info & contact page. Enjoy your visit
to my website!

It has been some time since I showed you new photos, but I think the time has come to show you some new ones.
I took the following ones at the fantastic Release party of the new Ayreon album in the rock cafe 'Stairway
to Heaven' in Utrecht. Check out the photos and read the accompanying story about the party on
the Ayreon page. Even though I am busy with my
studies at university, I am trying my very best to work on the Big Update of my website. I can already tell
you that it will be very beautiful!

As you may already know, Ayreon's seventh album will be released on January 28th. Are you already curious
about this new masterpiece, entitled '01011001'? Then visit Arjen Lucassen's
website or read everything about the new album on my
own 01011001 page. And I might probably meet you
during the Release party of the new album, in the alternative rock cafe 'Stairway to Heaven' in Utrecht on
January 27th!
I would like to wish you all a Happy 2008! Thank you all very much for visiting my website during the
previous year. 2007 seriously broke all records! Of course I'm busy working on my website, translating
pages into English for all my foreign visitors. My kind advice for 2008: be sure to get back here, as
RobLigtenberg.tk doesn't sit still! The Big Update will make my website look fresh and make it
quicker to load than ever before, so I hope it will offer you even more! In case you still have some
comments or requests, please let me know via
the Guestbook.

After getting my diploma for graduating from the Civil Engineering study, I went to France on holidays.
Together with some family we stayed in a nice house in the French Alps. We had a nice time and I kept
myself busy during those two weeks. You can read some long but very interesting stories on
the Holiday 2007 page... We did some
cool things, for example we saw the Tour the France, made nice trips through the mountains, 'climbed' Mont
Blanc and visited Turin in Italy. Don't hesitate to check out the more than 120 photos I took. I shot way
more photos but had to limit it for my website. Anyhow it was difficult to make a nice selection, as all
photos turned out so well! As an extra, I added a few panorama views to this page. Enjoy!

I got an invitation from my uncle to go as a VIP to Circuit Park Zandvoort for the World Touring Car
Championship on the Dutch national Liberation day (May 5th). I went there and had a wonderful day. Of
course I took many photos. Read the story and view the photos on the
WTCC page!
The British band Marillion was in our country in May. On this beautiful day in spring, they gave a free
open air gig at the market square in Almelo. I was there and took a few photos! Take a look on the
Marillion page to view them yourself.

I had an interesting experience with a friend of mine once on our way to some Stream of Passion shows. The
shows got cancelled at the last minute because the UK officials in France prohibited the Mexican bandmembers
to enter the United Kingdom for unclear reasons. Read about this drama on the
official Stream of Passion website.
Because we heard of this decision too late, we crossed the pond to the UK anyway. On
the Boat trip page you can read more about
this and can, of course, see some nice photos of the ferry.
After being to Stream of Passion's gig in Belgium, I still had two more gigs to go in the week ahead, one
in Rijssen and one in Dordrecht. You can see my best photos of these gigs on
the Stream of Passion page.
This time the quality is pretty good, so I hope you like them as much as I do...

Stream of Passion started a new European tour last week. After visiting Denmark and Finland, it was time for
a gig in Belgium again. I was there and had a blast! Feel free to check out the photos I took during this
gig on the Stream of Passion page.
There are 4 more shows planned for the next 2 weeks (Rijssen, Dordrecht, Sheffield and London) all of which
I hope to attend. Are you coming too?
I placed a German comic (Fire & Steel) featuring a guest appearance from Arjen Lucassen on
the Fire & Steel page. I also added a few
new things to my Blog (as part of
my MySpace). Maybe
you would like to read them as well...
This is the first update of 2007. First of all I want to wish you all the best for the coming year and thank
you for visiting my website during the past year. I hope you will come back regularly to check out the new
things. During the Christmas holidays I've been busy with renewing the photo pages. What I have added is
mentioned in the list below.
The London 2000 page contains a nice story
and a bunch of photos I took on a trip to the city. I went there for a week in September 2000 with some
classes of highschool.
The new photos on the General photos page
are worth checking out.
The Tauw page has a brief story about the internship
that I did at the consulting and engineering company Tauw.
The Ballast Nedam page contains photos
and a story about my second internship at this construction company.
The Stream of Passion page has
photos and stories of the 6 gigs I attended. You can see photos of the Abraham in our garden for my dad's
50th birthday on the Dad 50 page.
The Cessna flight page has photos and
a short story about my father's first kilometers spent flying a plane.
The Wâldrock page contains a nice story about
my first festival experience ever. It has photos of the shows of Stream of Passion, Kamelot and After Forever.
The Holiday 2006 page contains a bunch
of photos of our holiday to France. The final page I redesigned is
the Mostly Autumn page with lovely
photos of an intimate gig in Apeldoorn. Enjoy looking at the photos and reading all these new pages!
Don't hesitate to leave a message in the Guestbook on
my website, or to take a look at my MySpace.

Finally another update! After more than 5 months of no activity it's gotta be time. I haven't been sitting
still all this time though and soon there a fresh new look to all the photo pages. Mainly because of my
graduation project I have had very little time to work on my website or make any updates, but now that it's
Christmas holidays I have some time! Not long ago I went to a simply fantastic gig
by Mostly Autumn.
Be sure to take a look at the brilliant photos on
the Mostly Autumn page. As I said, in
the coming two weeks the photo pages will have a metamorphosis, so I want to ask you to be sure to come back
soon... And with that, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy 2007!

Stream of Passion's 2006 summer tour ended for me with gigs in Zaandam and Hardenberg. You can see a
selection of my best photos of both gigs on
the Stream of Passion page.
There won't be much updates during my summer holiday. Of course I will be back with some interesting updates
after my return! Have a great holiday, folks!
The Wâldrock festival was my first festival ever. It was extremely hot, but the three bands I especially
came for rocked the roof of the tent. The photos of the Stream of Passion gig can be viewed on the general
Stream of Passion page. All
photos from that day (Stream of Passion, Kamelot and After Forever), including a nice story, can be seen and
read on the Wâldrock page. After the shows by
Kamelot and After Forever I met a few of the bandmembers from Stream of Passion and had a nice talk. In the
end this was a fantastic day... Unforgettable! (Thanks Johan!)

at their first gig (and soundcheck!) in the
'Paard van Troje'
venue in Den Haag. You can see the photos on
the Stream of Passion page.
Also their first festival appearance is confirmed! The reaction has been very promising so far, so I hope
they will rock the place at the Wâldrock festival too. By invitation of Johan van Stratum, I will go to
that festival. Kamelot and After Forever will be there as well, so I'm looking forward to that!

The new single 'Out in the real world' by Stream of Passion has been in the stores for some weeks now. I
placed some nice information and accurate lyrics on the Out in the real world page.
I also have a really cool announcement to make: Stream of Passion will go on tour again this summer! Check
the Concert diary for the exact dates
and locations. The live album and live DVD of Stream of Passion's show at
'Lucky & Co' in
Rijssen will also be released this summer. Visit the official website
of Stream of Passion to
check out the latest news.
The regular visitors of RobLigtenberg.tk had to wait some time for this feature, but finally I want
to present to you my
new Guestbook which is
