The Sail 2005 nautical event in Amsterdam.

After a nice walk on the beach at Zandvoort (see the Zandvoort page)
I went to Amsterdam to visit the free nautical event Sail 2005. I didn't really know what to expect and I
hoped I'd be able to spent my time well there. But I was really surprised by how cool this event actually was,
even for a person (like me) who's not that interested in the nautical world. It was an amazing experience to
enter the tall sailing ships and to take a look inside. In
the Photo album you can see almost 100
photos I took during this part of the day. I added some nice descriptions to each photo so you can almost
relive this day in Amsterdam. In the end, when I had seen nearly all ships, I went to the city center of
Amsterdam. I bought some food and later on I watched the fireworks in the harbour. If you ever get the
chance to visit Amsterdam during this 5-day event, do it! When the fireworks were over, I rushed to the
train station to go back home again. I eventual arrived home around 1 o'clock in the morning.
