De andere versie staat op het album 'The final experiment'. Het nummer 'Eyes of time' was nogal een probleemgeval, want Arjen kon moeilijk een zanger vinden die het beste bij dit nummer zou passen. In de studio probeerde Arjen maar liefst 6 zangers uit, totdat hij uiteindelijk Lenny Wolf van Kingdom Come tegenkwam. Alhoewel hij de versie van Leon Goewie (een bandlid waar Arjen mee in Vengeance zat) wel goed vond, was deze versie wat te veel van het goede voor het tweede nummer op 'The final experiment'. Deze versie van Leon staat ook op de Japanse versie van het album en de zeldzame single 'Sail away to Avalon', maar is er nu dus voor iedereen.
