De andere versie staat op het album 'Flight of the migrator'. Toen Arjen jaren terug in Los Angeles (Verenigde Staten) was, was Lana Lane zo aardig om een aantal nummers in te zingen, waaronder ook 'Into the black hole'. Daarna stuurde Arjen de opgenomen versie naar Bruce Dickinson en die vond het een mooi nummer met mooie zang. Maar Bruce was in die tijd extreem druk met het opnemen van materiaal voor Iron Maiden, dus het was lang onzeker of Bruce tijd kon vinden om naar Nederland te komen om daar het nummer in te zingen. Toen Damian Wilson uit Engeland overkwam om 'And the druids turn to stone' in te zingen was hij, zoals gewoonlijk, binnen een uur al klaar. Er kon dus al begonnen worden aan de achtergrondzang voor 'Dawn of a million souls', maar zelfs daarna was er genoeg tijd over! Zo kwam het spontane idee om Damian 'Into the black hole' te laten zingen, voor als Bruce eventueel niet kon komen. Gelukkig kwam Bruce wel (en hij deed het perfect!) waardoor Arjen twee schitterende versies van dit nummer klaar had liggen. De versie op dit album is een mix van de zang van Lana en Damian. "Ik ben er zeker van dat je het resultaat mooi zult vinden; ik vind het in ieder geval wel mooi!", aldus Arjen. The eye of the universe. A dark sphere surrounds us (surreal... oblivious...)
