Het was een nummer dat ik speciaal had geschreven voor zijn fantastische stem, ook al was ik eigenlijk al klaar met het opnemen en mixen van het comnplete album! Ik hou erg van deze versie van 'Eyes of time', omdat het een heel ander gevoel heeft dan het origineel. Ik ken Lori van de 'Ayreon mailinglist' in de Yahoo Groups. Op een dag discus- sieerden we over het breken van gitaarsnaren. Lori gaf ons een link naar een videoclip op haar website waar ze ook een snaar brak. Ik was zo onder de indruk van haar gitaarspel, dat ik haar heb uitgenodigd om een paar solo's op dit album te spelen. Normaal gesproken nodig ik geen andere gitaristen uit om op mijn albums te spelen, maar wat een talent..."
